MEG’s Early-Career Subcommittee is organising a workshop focussing on early career development within the museum sector at Kew Gardens in London.

The workshop is intended for anyone in the first few years of their career in the museum sector or interested in joining the sector in the future.

The day will begin with some introductions and a few talks from members of staff at Kew, regarding different career paths. This will be followed by a tour of the Economic Botany Collection. After lunch, there will be more talks from external speakers, with a discussion and Q&A session to end. Attendees will then have the opportunity to wander around Kew Gardens at the end of the day, before heading to one of Kew’s local pub to connect over a drink.
