Personal Membership
The membership year runs from 1 April to 31 March.
Individual members receive:
- The latest issue of the Journal of Museum Ethnography (JME)
- Discounts on MEG’s Annual Conference and other events
- Access to a programme of events supporting professional development
- A regular e-newsletter with news, reviews, opportunities, and event updates
- Online access to the JME back issue archive via JSTOR (login details are sent at the start of each membership year)
We also offer a concessionary rate for individuals earning under £18,000 per year (or equivalent).
Institutional Membership
Do you work for an accredited museum in the UK or Ireland but don’t need personal membership? Institutions can join MEG for £35 per year.
Institutional membership includes:
- One nominated individual who can attend MEG events at the member rate and vote at the AGM
- Museums and libraries outside the UK and Ireland can subscribe to the Journal of Museum Ethnography for £40 (or equivalent) per year.
